SUMMER MISSIONS
We are still looking for students to serve as summer missionaries on thecamp team and other ministries around Missouri this summer.There are some incredible opportunities to serve in inner city ministries,camp teams and even in the area of church planting.If you are interested in serving then contact Bob atbhouch9ins@mobaptist.org or give him a call at 573-579-6087.You can also check out opportunities at www.mobaptist.org/collegiate byclicking on the summer missions link.Summer missionaries receive a $1300 stipend and expenses for 10 weeksservice.
BSU APARTMENT APPLICATIONS
We have one apartment opening up at the end of May at the BSU house. This apartment is big enough that 2 people could share it. Rent is $250 per month for one person and $350 for two people. Cost includes rent, utilities, cable, washer and dryer, and wireless internet.If you are interested in applying come by the BSU and pick up an application.There is a $250 deposit and 12 month lease requirement.
DRUMMER NEEDED
RedStar Baptist Church is looking for a someone to train drummers for their morning worship service. If you have the skills and the interest in helping a church develop its worship ministry contact Gary McDowell at 335-5139 or 579-0714.
BLUE LIKE JAZZ
The next Blue Like Jazz book study group will take place March 26 at 7pm. The topic will be Chapter 3 and will be led by Paul Sappington!

BSU AT THE HOUSE TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are looking for some people to get together before the BSU to pray for the worship and the service! Talk to Josh Reimann if you are intersted!
Ministry Opprotunity: The BSU NEEDS someone to put together the Media Shout presentations for the BSU Worship Service. Talk to Kevin Pollock if you are interested.
We will be getting together at the BSU house at 9 after REAL LIFE to have live updates from panama city beach reach and pray for what God is doing down there right now. We know of 9 spring breakers who made commitments last week.

God is doing amazing things for the Blitz. We have several people donating and giving time. We need a lot more help. Talk to Kevin or Bob.
Stations of the Cross....but we need 7 students who can help with this. It will be next tues. night following BSU.
BSU Yard Sale. On Saturday, April 29th we will be having a yard sale to raise money for summer missions. We need everyone to keep old clothing and things that they don't want or need anymore. Anything will work. We also need people who are willing to help during the yard sale. If anyone is willing to help out they need to contact April Rochat.

FREE LUNCHES MONDAY AND TUESDAY FROM 11-1 AT THE BSU HOUSE!
Amazing Race is POSTPONED!!!!!!!!!!!! Due to weather making the playing field very mushy, this event will take place after Spring Breakk. Watch the site for updates!
BSU Formal will be April 22. If you want to help decorate or plan anything get in touch with Jessica Loos! Also, if you want to go, you will have to commit soon. There is some planning that needs to be done!
March 13th the Service Group will be going to Maryville University to meet with the students in their BSU to have a time of worship and to discuss the service project that we will be partnering with them on. People will be leaving the BSU house at 6:15. The Service project will take place on March 29. For more information contact Alicia Christian at afchristian1s@semo.edu. This is a great way to minister to a new BSU and help their ministry to grow!
Here's a way to make the basement of the BSU house look good and a way to raise money for missions! Tuesday, March 6, we are selling spots for murals in the BSU basement. The larger the spot the more money it will cost. You don't have to be a good artist, just willing to support missions and open to the idea of expressing this.
The BSU will be getting a team together for Relay for Life. This is a good opprotunity to help raise awareness of cancer survivors and to support research for a cure. Contact Emily Duckworth at esduckworth1s@semo.edu to get involved or get more information.
Stations of the Cross: March 14 at 9pm Catholic Campus Ministry will be doing a Stations of the Cross on campus. They are inviting us to get involved. This is basically a prayer walk focused on Jesus bearing the cross to the crucifixtion. But also, there will be prayer for the campus community, the nation, and the world. The Worship Team could use our help. Is there anyone that could commit to helping move sound equipment on Tuesdays around 3pm? It has to be hauled in from the truck to the ballroom. No experience with sound equipment necessary, just a heart ready to help.
