Bass Player Needed
The band Main Street Narrow is looking for a bass player. He must be between 18-24 years of age and have a passion for God. They meet at Lynwood in the youth room at 8 pm on Wednesdays and 2 pm on Sundays. They need a guy that is going to be totally committed to Christ and is wanting to share Christ's love by using his gift. We are going to make this a mission opportunity, so we need someone that will be totally committed to the band as well. Contact Kyle Meadows at 225-6618 for more info and a chance to try out.

Urgent Announcements!!!!
Last night the challenge came to support two students who will be our first missionaries to China next summer. You took the challenge to heart and gave $310. As a result we are nearly 1/3 of the way towards the $1000 goal. Once we raise $1000 for Ricky and Joel then we will receive a $1000 in matching money from an alumni of the BSU. Thanks for all you did!
Homecoming
We are checking into sponsoring students for homecoming court this year. We will have full details Thursday afternoon. Here is what we do know: Students being nominated have to be in 2-3 campus organizations and hold atleast one (maybe 2) leadership position. Students must have 60 credit hours towards their degree. Deadlines for applications is this Friday. The decision to do this is based around our commitment to present Jesus tothe campus. Students being nominated for Homecoming Court go through a series of interviews and will have the opportunity to speak about their organization and what it does. Therefore any student wanting to be considered as the BSU's representative needs to be committed to speaking openly and freely with these panels about our ministry and about their faith. If you are interested in this opportunity and will see it as a ministry first then call or come by the BSU tomorrow after 11:30.
Getaway: The deadline for signing up and paying the deposit is this Friday!
